Recently i purchased the film, The boat that rocked, a film directed by Richard Curtis

I am proud to add it to my favourites.

As a rock and roller at heart (even though my habits don’t suggest so) i find this film very appealing.

I think you will too.

Imagine a boat floating in the middle of the north sea broadcasting rebellion to half of the brittish population.

One the one side you have the institutions attempting to close them down.

One the other side are the people who love rock and roll, but like me don’t live the lifestyle.

The DJ’s in this film are heroes.

This film concentrates on the life of those radio DJ rockstars, the ups the downs and most especially the community which they form.

At times this film is comedic genius and at others very touching.

It is rated as 15+ so any kids who are reading this post, make sure your parents have gone out before you watch it. :D

The main stars are Nick Frost ,  Bill Nighy ,  Phillip Seymour Hoffman ,   Tom Sturridge,  Rhys Ifans and Kenneth Branagh.

This is the trailer.

You can find the film over on Amazon

Well thanks for stopping by.

And remember, ROCK AND ROLL!!!
