This particular post focuses on the very entertaining and difficult art form of comedy mime performance.

Mime is defined on Wikipedia as

mime artist is someone who uses mime as a theatrical medium or as a performance art involving miming, or the acting out a story through body motions, without use of speech.

Silent comedy, something i am into is an extension of this kind of performance.

In this post i am going to show a few very good examples of this kind of performance that will prove i think, very entertaining.

Here is the first, one i stumbled upon today and inspired the writing of this post.

This performance is heavily based on the historically popular style of mime comedy.

You can see more of this guys performances in this Youtube channel

Funny mime comedy – the date.

The next video is one of a comedy classic who has incorporated mime into the comedy repertoire.

I am of course talking about the great Rowan Atkinson

Rowan Atkinson – the invisible drum kit

Finally but not least, on a very similar theme another very successful comedian who is rather good at the mime performances himself and does a very entertaining thing with a paino.

I give you, Lee Evans

Lee Evans – instrument mime.

So there you go, these were the videos that stood out to me the most.
