In this post i would like to talk about the film Hot Fuzz.

Hot fuzz is in my view an excellent film, an opinion shared by many.

The film stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and is directed by Edgar Wright.

It is a UK release which for me is great, it really is refreshing to see a UK film do well.

The plot follows that Nicholas Angel, a brilliant police officer is ousted from his position in London to the countryside because he is making his collegues ‘look bad’.

He goes to this town called Sandford and finds it to be totally different to his previous posting.

Oddly some disappearances and a series of supposed accidents occur in this town and Sergeant Angel is one a mission to find out what is going on.

His assistant proves to be of very little help due to his dim-wittedness. But slowly they do begin to unravel the mystery.

A dark secret that has dominated this town for over twenty years .

Find out what it is by checking out the film.

You can find it on Amazon.

Here is a trailer for the film off Youtube.

Oddly enough i could not find an official theatrical trailer, but i suppose with independent ‘indie’ films the mainstream media don’t cover them as much as say Hollywood blockbusters.

My personal opinion, i am a huge fan of Simon Peggs films, one of my favourite films ever is Run fat boy run.

Nick Frost also seems to be a really dynamic actor, proof of that showed in the film The boat that rocked.

The storyline is great and refreshing, the surrealism of the whole idea was perfect and the acting was very good.

As a comedy it was subtly hilarious.

You can read more about this film on Wikipedia and IMDB.

Thanks for stopping by.
